Become a Road-eo Judge or Examiner!
The Minnesota School Bus Operators Association is excited to host the 2026 Minnesota School Bus Road-eo, and we are looking for dedicated volunteers to serve as Judges and Examiners throughout the event.
Judges will be assigned to specific driving obstacles and will score contestants as they complete each maneuver. A brief training session will be provided before the competition, so previous Road-eo judging experience is not required. However, we encourage individuals with experience training school bus drivers to volunteer.
Examiners will ride with each contestant during the driving course, providing directions and evaluating more advanced driving skills while helping ensure the safety and smooth operation of the event. We prefer examiners who have a strong understanding of school bus operations. Certification as a state or third-party examiner is preferred but not required.
Whether you're an experienced transportation professional or simply passionate about promoting excellence and safety in student transportation, your time and expertise will help make this event a success.

Help make the 2026 Minnesota School Bus Road-eo a successful event by joining our team of general volunteers! Volunteers play an important role in ensuring the competition runs smoothly and that participants, judges, and spectators have a great experience.
Volunteer responsibilities may include: Registration, Food & Beverage Assistance, Station Guides, and General Event Support
No previous Road-eo experience is required—just a willingness to help and be part of a fun, team-oriented event!
