TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST AWARD:
Established in 1992, the Transportation Specialist Award honors those who work on the front lines in the school bus industry - school bus drivers, mechanics, dispatchers and safety directors who have dedicated their lives and careers to going above and beyond to ensure the safety of their passengers.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:
This award is given to those who exemplify excellence as a school bus transportation provider. An applicant must have 20 years of experience or more as a contractor or operations manager. An applicant must either be a member in good standing of MSBOA or, if retired, was a member during their career. An individual or MSBOA Safety & Awards Committee member may nominate an individual for this award.
JIM DEVEAU AWARD:
Established in 2007, the Jim DeVeau Award honors those who, like Jim, have worked to shape the MSBOA and the school bus industry as a whole with their tireless efforts.
JOE BEATON SCHOLARSHIP:
For those employed in school transportation and their children or grandchildren attending an accredited post secondary institution.
