Lobbyist - Marty Seifert, a Senior Lobbyist for Flaherty & Hood, P.A. in St. Paul, Minnesota. Born in Springfield, Minnesota, Seifert was raised on a family farm in southwest Minnesota. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Southwest Minnesota State University and taught Social Studies at Marshall Senior High School. In 1996, he was elected to serve southwest Minnesota in the Minnesota House of Representatives for seven terms. During that time, he served as the House Minority Leader, House Majority Whip, and Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, and passed numerous pieces of successful legislation. He was candidate for Governor of Minnesota in 2010 and 2014. In December of 2014, he became lobbyist for Flaherty & Hood, P.A., and has represented numerous clients since that time. Seifert owns several businesses, including Seifert Properties, LLC in Marshall, Minnesota , Battle Creek Retreat, LLC in St. Paul, Minnesota, and Morgan Brooks, LLC. He is the author of the book Sundown at Sunrise and has done over 150 book presentations. The book was in the top 10 of the True Crime category on Amazon for almost a year in 2017. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. |

Attorney - Tom Revnew was hired by the MSBOA in 2007. Tom represents employers in connection with the full range of employment, contract law and labor law issues. Tom frequently trains and/or lectures on various labor and employment law topics. Since he commenced his practice, he has conducted hundreds of training programs on behalf of clients, trade associations and various other organizations both locally and nationally.
