The first annual School Bus Driver Appreciation Day was established on February 22, 2017.

The purpose of School Bus Driver Appreciation Day is to recognize school bus drivers for their efforts to go above and beyond in order to transport students to school every day in Minnesota. 

We have had the 35W Bridge lit yellow in honor of all the school bus drivers in Minnesota who make invaluable contributions to school bus safety in Minnesota each and every day.
