MSBOA Awards

The Minnesota School Bus Operators Association (MSBOA) sponsors three awards that are given away each year at the Annual Summer Conference. The Awards Committee oversees the judging and administration of the Transportation Specialist, the Jim DeVeau Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Awards. Pictured above are the 2023 Transportation Specialist Award winners.

The Transportation Specialist Award was established in 1992. The award honors those individuals who work on the front lines in the school bus industry including school bus drivers, mechanics, dispatchers and safety directors. MSBOA honors those who have dedicated their lives and careers to going above and beyond to ensure the safety of their passengers. Final deadline for submissions: Friday, May 16, 2025.
